Speed reading is the cornerstone for comprehensive reading medical textbooks. Really, you haven't concentrate much on words or sentences. You have to concentrate on the meaning and the general idea of the sentences. The only exception is the new words which you don't know its meaning.
Speed reading also is very useful in IELTS READING TEST.

Thanks friends, it’s quite amazing fact, I really realized the spelling mistakes after reading half of the paragraph.
Regarding IELTS, I gave the test twice, I scored 8.5 and 8 in Reading tests.

I worked by ignoring the articles (not reading them at all)Image, all what I did was reading the questions and looking for answers in the article, I used to read the question and try to find a key word that would help me to find the answer, but I read not less than 50 articles before the test in order to get myself familiar with that method and thanking Allah the method succeeded in both times.

The 1st time I was comfortable with time. I finished 5 minutes before the whistle, in the 2nd time I finished on time.

Try this method it may help you :) Image
